Man Finds $4,500 In His Fast Food Bag Instead Of Fried Chicken Meal (Video)

We’ve heard stories like this before and it always stirs up debate.  If you came across a large sum of money that did not belong to you, what would you do?  Would you keep it and not say anything?  Or would you attempt to find its rightful owner?  This guy did the latter, which is a good thing, but you’ll probably end up not liking him like we did.

A man in Virginia went through the drive thru at Bojangles restaurant and ordered a fried chicken meal.  But when he got his food, he immediately noticed that it was completely wrong.  Instead of a box of delicious chicken, he was handed a box of delicious cash…$4,500 to be exact!  An employee had accidentally handed him the restaurant’s deposit that was obviously meant for the bank, since there were also deposit slips in the bag.  So he took the bag back inside and alerted the manager to the mistake.

This story should end there, right?  Nope.  The honest man wasn’t happy with the reaction of the manager.  He said that the manager was standoffish and said that if he had not returned it, they would have called the cops on him.  Now he’s getting fussy and wants a letter of apology from Bojangles, as well as a cash reward.

Let it go, man.
