Hockey Player Plays Guitar, Sings ‘Free Fallin” After Victory (Video)

Some hockey players are a bit weird, especially goalies. The guy in this video isn’t a goalie, but he does something that you wouldn’t normally see a hockey player do.

Former NHL goon Ryan Hollweg, now playing in the Czech Republic, decided to show off his music skills to the Czech Extraliga crowd. After the game and celebration, he grabbed his electric guitar and skated around playing Free Fallin’ by Tom Petty. Not only did he play the guitar, but he also decided to sing as well, and it wasn’t half bad.

It takes a lot of talent to be able to play a guitar and sing well, but it takes even more talent to be able to do so while on ice skates. You wouldn’t think that a professional hockey player would have any musical talent, but Hollweg definitely does. It’s cliche to ask a professional athlete what they would be doing if they weren’t an athlete or what they will do after their career ends, but this video definitely answers that question for Ryan Hollweg.

Check out the video below.  The singing starts around the 6:30 mark.
