Damn nature, you scary!
A group of whale watchers got a unique experience last Saturday near San Francisco. A huge humpback whale leaped out of the water only 20 yards away from the group and was captured on video. The only problem was that the whale landed directly on top of 2 people in a kayak. Shockingly, none of the people filming seemed concerned at all. In fact, a few were actually laughing! Keep in mind that a humpback whale of that size could weigh anywhere between 25 and 40 tons, and it landed on the kayak.
The two people to the surface, who later said they have no idea how they survived. Its incredible that they weren’t crushed to death, or even dragged under too far to make it back up in time. Both were lucky to walk away with no injuries.
