You probably remember the Animus River turning orange when water from the Gold King Mine spilled out from a nearby mine back on August 5th. Well, video was released this week of the exact moment the leak started. In the video, you’ll see it start out as a small, orange stream, but it didn’t take long before it turned into a massive, flowing river. It’s crazy how quickly a drilling mistake devastated the river for a couple of weeks!
