A few weeks ago, we were discussing how many pets is considered too many. We agreed that the number is somewhere between 3 and 5. But what about 65?
Authorities rescued 65 cats, some of which had litters of kittens just days afterward, from a van that belonged to a homeless man. The scene was reminiscent of something you would see on hoarders and the conditions were unlivable for the cats and man alike. It’s hard to imagine living with just a fraction of that many animals in a two story house, let alone the back of a van down by the river. Gross.
