Back in 2014, 14-year-old Trevor Sullivan of Michigan started getting sick without explanation. Doctors finally determined that Trevor was experiencing heart failure and would need a heart transplant. When the call came that there was a heart available, Trevor and his family went to the hospital for the very, very risky surgery. There was obviously a chance that he would not survive the surgery.
But Trevor did survive. And when he woke up from the surgery, his father was there to record the very emotional moment when Trevor realized that he had made it. Check it out below.
