A representative from the Satanic Temple in Tucson, Arizona recently signed up to give an invocation at the City Council meeting in Phoenix, coming up in just a couple of weeks. This, understandably, is not going over well. Obviously, people are trying to stop this from happening, but the Satanic Temple is fighting back, saying that the Supreme Court cannot dictate the content of their prayer or other religious viewpoints. Now, the City Council folks are scrambling, attempting to come up with a new rule that will keep the Satanists out.
Seems like a big attention grab to us…
