There’s a weird noise that’s been waking people up at night for the past few weeks in Forest Grove, Oregon, which is about 40 minutes west of Portland. And nobody can tell where it’s coming from, or what it is. People have guessed train tracks, truck brakes, a gas leak, forestry equipment…all kinds of stuff. But all the utilities and local agencies say it’s not coming from them. People in the neighborhood say it’s really loud too, even enough to bother their pets.
