This is one of the most bizarre cases of mistaken/stolen identity ever! Artur Samarin is a 23-year-old man from the Ukraine who lost his visa in 2012. In an effort to stay in the country, he obtained a fake ID listing him as Asher Potts and enrolled in a high school in Harrisburg, PA. Somehow, it worked…for 4 years! He was an honor student and even joined a cadet program with the Navy! No word on how he got caught, but this is straight out of Catch Me if You Can.
