These days, most people are pretty attached to their phone, keeping it on them and using it constantly. This can take away from important things, such as spending time with your family and chain restaurant Chick-fil-A is aiming to change that. They are starting to offer a ‘cell phone coop’ at their dine-in locations, with some incentive to putting your cell phone away: free ice cream at the end of your meal!
According to the video below, the cell phone coops have lead to more talk being heard in the restaurant, and probably higher ice cream sales. The “coop” is simply a small cardboard box, similar to what their chicken dinners are served in.
