This College Basketball Player Has The Most Pathetic Favorite Memory Ever (Video)

In the video below, Dennis Clifford had just finished his last game as a Boston College basketball player, which was a first round loss to Florida State University at the NY Life ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament.  Boston College finished the season 7-25, so it was definitely a rough year.  And Clifford was a bit emotional.

While sitting at the press conference next to head coach Jim Christian, Clifford was asked what his best memory was while playing basketball at Boston College.  This question choked him up, and he paused for about 15 seconds before gathering himself for an answer.  Instead of responding with something like “living in the dorms with the guys,” or “the friendships I’ve made with my teammates,” or “the camaraderie on and off the court,” ‘ol Cliff came up with something that no one was expecting.  His response?  “Going out to eat.”  Luckily, coach jumped in at that point as Clifford had completely checked out.

This might be the saddest answer ever given by an athlete.
