Watching this guy get excited about an eclipse is pretty reminiscent of watching the Double Rainbowor the train foamer videos from a few years back. This man just gets super excited over things that the rest of us usually just give a collective “meh” to.
In this case, the guy recording the video, who happens to be an astronomer, is extremely excited because he’s witnessing an eclipse. No big deal, right? Well, if he was viewing it from the ground like most people, then no. It wouldn’t be that big of a deal. But he happened to be aboard Alaska Airlines Flight 870 from Anchorage to Honolulu, which just so happened to intersect the path of a recent solar eclipse. So it’s safe to say that he, along with the others on board, had arguably the best seat in the world for the show. And he completely failed at containing his excitement!
