A Fort Worth, Texas police officer is on desk duty after a video of a recent incident that he was involved in has gone viral.
After numerous 911 calls about a large group of motorcycles weaving in and out of traffic on the highway, the officer responded and pulled over a pickup truck who he said was recording the motorcyclists and driving recklessly. As the group of motorcycles passed by him, he is seen on video pulling out pepper spray and spraying it on the bikers. Five people were treated for exposure to the pepper spray at the scene, and another person had to be taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
Someone riding with the group was recording video at the time and it clearly captured the moment that the officer pulled out the pepper spray and started spraying at the passing bikes. Due to the video being posted on YouTube, the incident is now being investigated by the Fort Worth Police Department.
