A road sign in Iowa is getting a bit of attention recently, with some people saying it’s funny and others saying that it’s insensitive. The sign, which sits along Iowa Highway 105 in Northern Iowa, looks similar to a typical deer crossing sign, but instead of saying “Deer Crossing” or “Deer Warning,” it reads “Suicidal Deer.”
Obviously, some people are all up in arms about this because they believe that it’s insensitive. Those responsible for the sign say that it was simply done to warn people of the numerous deer spotted in the area and how deer/car accidents are common. Lighten up, people!
