If you’re anything like us, you’ve been waiting to buy your own pair of Marty McFly-style self-lacing Nikes since you first saw them back in the 80s. Now it looks like that dream could be a reality!
Nike announced that these fancy new kicks, dubbed the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0, will be available for purchase by the end of this year. The shoes will automatically lace when you step into them, with buttons on the side to adjust how tight or loose they’re laced.
While these shoes might not be super helpful or even practical for most of us, you have to admit they’re pretty damn cool, right? And what adult DOESN’T want sneakers with light-up soles??
