Hulk Hogan won another $25 million in his sex tape lawsuit against Gawker. The jury awarded him $15 million from the company, and $10 million from its founder, Nick Denton. This was for punitive damages, which are awarded to punish the defendant. Last week, the jury gave Hulk $115 million in compensatory damages, for monetary injuries and emotional distress.
It remains to be seen if Hogan will walk away with the full $140 million. Gawker is expected to appeal.
Meanwhile, Inside Edition talked to Hulk’s ex-wife Linda about the verdict, and she said that even though the sex tape was made while they were married, she doesn’t want a piece of the settlement.
She said, “It made me a little bit sick. It’s dirty money.”
