Jake Gyllenhaal was on the Tonight Show Monday night talking about his terrible audition for The Lord of the Rings. At the audition, they didn’t have any lines, only stage direction. So he didn’t really know what he was supposed to do. And no one told him he was supposed to have a British accent. It ended with Peter Jackson telling him he was the worst actor he had ever seen.
