Toronto’s Former Mayor Rob Ford Lost His Battle with Cancer (Video)

Former Toronto Mayor Rob Ford died yesterday after a battle with cancer.  He was 46.  Sadly, Ford will not be remembered for anything he may have accomplished in office.

He became a global punchline in 2013, when video surfaced of him smoking crack.  At first he denied it, but then he admitted that it was him, and said he was, “probably in one of my drunken stupors.”

He provided joke writers with an endless string of material, like when he publicly responded to a woman who’d accused him of making a rather disgusting proposition involving his mouth.

And then there was the time he nearly knocked over a female city councilor.  That was during a meeting at City Hall, where government officials basically stripped him of his powers.  He was charging across the room to confront some hecklers.

Rest in pease, Mayor Ford.
