Baseball fans are familiar with switch-hitters: a player who is able to bat right-handed or left-handed. It’s definitely a unique skill that not many players possess. And a skill that even less possess is the ability to THROW equally well with both hands. Sure, if asked, most could probably muster a half-decent toss of about 20 feet or so. But one player, Pat Venditte, is a switch-PITCHER for the Toronto Blue Jays!
Venditte has a special glove that allows him to wear it on either hand, which means that he can switch back and forth between throwing left-handed and right-handed. So what happens when a switch-pitcher faces a switch-hitter? Well, a bit of confusion, as it turns out.
