A 49-year-old guy named Rodney Gilliam lives with his 35-year-old brother Randy in Muncie, Indiana. And they got into a heated argument on Monday over whose pot roast Rodney was eating.
It turned out they both had one in the refrigerator, but Randy assumed Rodney was eating his pot roast. They’d both been drinking, and he didn’t even check. He just accused Rodney of stealing his food.
And Rodney responded by stabbing him multiple times in the head with a FORK.
Randy needed stitches to close all the stab wounds in his head, and also ended up with a busted lip and a black eye.
Rodney is facing charges for aggravated battery. But Randy says it was just a “family squabble.” And he hopes his brother doesn’t go to jail for it, because, “One thing led to another. It happens. We’re family.”
He did admit the whole thing might have been an overreaction though.
