Ethel Easter of Houston is mad at the people that did her hernia surgery. Why? They didn’t screw it up or anything. But they did make what she believed to be disparaging remarks about her while she was knocked out while in the operating room.
After finding out that she needed hernia surgery, Easter was upset when the doctor told her that it would not take place immediately. She argued with the doctor because it was going to take a number of weeks before she’d go under the knife. The doctor basically told her that her case was not special and she had to wait just like everyone else.
Easter was so upset about the interaction that she decided to hide an audio recorder in her hair when she finally went in for surgery a few weeks later. After her surgery, she listened back and was extremely upset with what she heard. On the recording, she overheard the doctors and operating room staff saying derogatory things about her attitude and insults about her body.
