Working in radio, there are a few “golden rules.” For instance, the number one golden rule is that you ALWAYS assume that the microphones are on. If you’re in the studio, there’s a chance that what you are saying could be going out over the air. So you better watch what you say…especially if there are technical difficulties and you’re not positive if you’re on the air or not. Unfortunately, Conservative radio host Laura Ingraham did not listen to that golden rule.
Last week, her syndicated radio show was experiencing some technical issues. Ingraham thought that those issues were causing the show to not go out over the air, so while she was still speaking into the microphone, she said the following:
“We gotta put a “Best of” on, Drew. We’re gonna lose every fucking station we have. This is unbelievable. I don’t know what to do. What do I do? Just read stories?”
Unfortunately for Ingraham, they WERE still on the air. Oops! Listen to her on-air meltdown below!
