Noah Galloway On ‘American Grit,’ John Cena’s Special Steaks And Reality TV (Audio)

This morning on the show, we talked to our friend Noah Galloway.  In case you’ve been living under a rock for the last couple of years, Noah is an Army veteran who was injured in Iraq when the vehicle he was riding in drove over a roadside bomb.  He lost portions of his left arm and left leg and fell into a pretty long depression afterwards.

Since then, Noah has gotten back on track, graced the cover of Men’s Health as the “2014 Ultimate Men’s Health Guy and was even a contestant on Dancing With the Stars!  Now, he’s doing motivational speaking.

Noah joined us this morning to talk about his new Fox television show, American Grit, which airs Thursdays at 9/8 central.  If you missed the premiere, you can watch it here.

The show, hosted by WWE superstar John Cena, is a “military-inspired competition that follows 16 of the country’s fiercest men and women as they are tested in Pack Forest of Eatonville, Wash. The contestants are split into four teams and presented with a variety of military-grade and survival-themed challenges. John Cena and an elite group of mentors (including Noah) from exclusive military units help the competitors push past their limits as their strength, grit, spirit and most importantly teamwork skills are tested in hopes of winning the $1 million prize.

It’s always great to catch up with Noah to find out what he’s been up to, so if you missed it, you can listen to the interview below.
