While making the rounds in New York leading up to the Primary the other day, Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton was being interviewed on a morning radio show on an urban station. Now, Clinton has been accused many times of pandering to her audience, so it’s important to note that the three hosts of the show are black.
Towards the end of the interview, the female host asked Clinton, “What’s something you always have with you?” Clinton’s response shocked the hosts. “Hot sauce.” One of the hosts even pointed out to Clinton that people would accuse her of pandering to the black audience, to which she joked, “OK, is it working?” Check out the clip below and let us know what you think!
