Radio stations are paying tribute to Prince today by playing his version of “Nothing Compares 2 U” at 6:07pm Eastern. That’s the exact time that it will be “7 hours and 13 days” since the music icon died. And the first line of the song is, “It’s been 7 hours and 13 days / Since you took your love away.”
If you’re a little confused, it’s probably because the Sinead O’Connor version of the song says it’s been “7 hours and 15 days.” She recorded the song first, and hers was a bigger hit. But Prince actually wrote the song.
