Have you ever thought that you could do a better job working in government than the current elected officials? Well, that’s what this 17-year-old thinks! And while he won’t be able to vote for himself, he IS legally able to run, as the law only requires he be 18 by the time he takes office!
Not every teen spends their free time campaigning, but David Pelikan is convinced he can make a difference if voted into the Wisconsin state assembly. So instead of enjoying his youth and soaking up some sun this summer, he’ll be spending his time convincing people he’s their best choice for office.
