Looks like Screech is taking on a whole new persona! Dustin Diamond, best known for playing the odd, nerdy character in the beloved 90’s sitcom “Saved by the Bell“, recently went to jail for his involvement in a bar fight that led to someone getting stabbed. Yikes!
Diamond claims that he was only protecting himself and defending his fiance when he was involved in a fight that led to another participant cutting himself on his pocket knife. Screech ended up getting sentenced to 3 months in jail, and states that it’s nothing like it is on TV. But, then again, neither was the high school experience “Saved by the Bell” portrayed, so fair is fair.
