State Seizes Long Island Woman’s Pet Monkey Of 22 Years (Video)

Monkey see, monkey do, monkey gets taken away from you. An elderly woman from Long Island got her pet off 22 years taken away recently. Anyone would be devastated if they lost their companion of over two decades, but the twist here is that her animal friend was an illegally kept monkey!

Beatrice states that her pet monkey, Luna, is a small, gentle animal and had no idea it was illegal to raise her in her home. But unfortunately in New York, only licensed facilities (like zoos or animal research centers) are allowed to keep primates. The animals are deemed unpredictable and even violent, but Beatrice insists that this is not the case for Luna, who weighs in at only 10 pounds.

Should Beatrice get her monkey back, or will it be safer and happier at the undisclosed location they are bringing it to? Watch for yourself and let us know!
