We used to work with a guy named Metalhead Ned. Ned, as his name implied, loved metal. He rocked out to bands that we had never heard of and always gave the devil horns in photos. Whenever people would go out to do karaoke, Ned’s go-to song was Drowning Pool’s Bodies. And he could sing the hell out of that song! The man in this video…he’s no Ned.
This is 82-year-old John Hetlinger. And while he’s far outside of Drowning Pool’s targeted demographic, that doesn’t stop him from grabbing the mic and rocking out to Bodies at karaoke night at a bar. And the crowd absolutely loves it!
Well, John ended up on “America’s Got Talent” last night to perform his rendition of Bodies and the judges LOVED it. Well, three of them did. Heidi Klum said no, but he got a yes from Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel and Mel B.
