If you don’t pay your rent on time, what’s the worst that could happen? Late fees? Possibly eviction? Yeah, those are both bad, but your landlord just blatantly messing with you is probably worse.
In the case of the guy in this video, he didn’t pay his rent so his landlord definitely screwed with him a little bit. We’re assuming that late fees and threats of eviction did nothing to convince him to pay, so the landlord had no choice but to up his game a bit. So he took the guy’s stairs. Yes, the whole staircase to his second floor apartment was removed. That’ll teach him!
Perhaps the craziest thing about all of this is that the steps were obviously removed while the guy was home, yet he somehow didn’t hear any of the commotion! You can tell by the confused look on his face when he walks outside at the end of the video. This leads us to believe that this wasn’t a first time stair removal for the landlord and that he’s actually very well versed in the process.
