Frank Caliendo Reads Kevin Durant’s Letter As Morgan Freeman (Video)

Kevin Durant surprised pretty much everyone who follows basketball by announcing that he’s leaving the Oklahoma City Thunder to join Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors.

Durant was a free agent, and met with six teams over the last few days.  A lot of people thought he’d stick with OKC, at least for one more year, since they were a great team that came within ONE game of beating the Warriors and making the Finals this season.

Durant made the announcement in The Players’ Tribune,” and said, “It really pains me to know that I’ll disappoint so many people with this choice, but I believe I’m doing what I feel is the right thing at this point in my life and career.

Obviously, this could make the Warriors the best team ever assembled on paper.  They won a record 73 games this past season without Durant, and Durant was the third-highest scoring player in the NBA, behind Curry and James Harden.

Comedian Frank Caliendo then posted a video of himself reading the letter in Morgan Freeman’s voice, like he did when LeBron James announced a couple of years ago that he was returning to the Cavaliers after his stint in Miami with the Heat.
