Finally, something exciting happened during a baseball game!
During a Padres/Giants game last week, a ball was fouled off down the third bast line. Padres third baseman Yangervis Solarte took chase, coming up with an incredible catch as he spilled over the wall and into the laps of some lucky fans. When he emerged, he not only had the ball in his glove, but also a healthy heap of nacho cheese!
To his credit, Solarte followed baseball rule number one and never took his eyes off the ball, which had to be difficult with the allure of ballpark nachos just inches away. Well done, Yangervis!
