Guys, there are ways to compliment a woman, and there are ways to NOT compliment a woman. The way that the Astros announcer chose to compliment the sideline reporter in this clip below…it’s an example of the latter.
Julia Morales of Root Sports had just finished an in-game report and threw it back to the booth toAstros play-by-play guy Alan Ashby. Instead of thanking her for the report and going back to the action, Ashby thanked Morales, but then decided to creep on her a bit, pointing out how blue her eyes looked in what can only be described as “creep voice.” He said, “Did you guys notice how blue Julia’s eyes looked right there? Come on Julia, flash them again.”
His creepiness was met with complete silence from the other announcers in the booth. And Julia didn’t seem to comfortable with the whole interaction either. Check out the awkwardness below!
