Nine-Year-Old Girl From England Sneezes Up To 8,000 Times Per Day (Video)

Isn’t it crazy when the human body just decides, “Screw it. I’m going rogue!”  A girl in England is experiencing that, as her body has decided that it’s going to cause her to sneeze a lot…up to 8,000 times a day!  Yes, you read that correctly.  8,000 sneezes a day.  If you were awake for 24 straight hours, that would equate to a sneeze every 10 seconds or so.  Factor sleep into the equation and that number jumps up quite a bit!  And doctors are baffled.

This all started a few weeks ago when nine-year-old Ira Saxena woke up one morning and just started sneezing.  And she couldn’t stop.  Doctors have ruled out the common things like a cold or allergies, and instead believe that there’s just a signal crossed in her brain somewhere that is triggering the sneezing.  But other than that, they don’t really know what to do about it.

In the meantime, Ira has been pulled out of school because it’s just too much of a distraction.
