Ed Sheeran is now facing two copyright infringement lawsuits.
First off, he’s fighting a claim that his song “Thinking Out Loud” rips off Marvin Gaye’s “Let’s Get It On.” Ed Townsend is the guy who co-wrote that song with Marvin, and his heirs are the ones suing for copyright infringement.
And a while back, two men claimed Ed’s song “Photograph” rips off their song “Amazing,” which came out in 2009…just six years before “Photograph”. “Amazing” was performed by Matt Cardle, the winner of the 2010 season of “The X Factor.“
