Michael Phelps made it pretty clear that this was his last Olympics. Of course, he’s said that before, but this time he means it…even though teammate Ryan Lochte said he believes Phelps will return in 2020.
Phelps said, “I will just clarify that Ryan doesn’t know what he is talking about. I am not coming back in four years.” He also said, “This sport will be fun over the next four years to see how it transitions. There are a lot of young kids and they show how much talent they have here.”
