Police Officers Help Young Boy Who Was Selling His Stuffed Animals For Food (Video)

WARNING: This is one of those stories that will just break your heart.

While out on patrol recently, police in Franklin, Ohio came across a seven-year-old boy standing outside of a store, attempting to sell his stuffed animals to raise money for food.  According to the officers, the boy said that he hadn’t eaten in a few days.  So they came to this boy’s aid by immediately getting him some food and taking him back to the station.

Not surprisingly, the boy’s living condition at home were terrible.  He and his four other siblings have since been removed from the home and are now living with other family members.  The children’s parents have been charged with ten counts of child endangerment and have been ordered to have zero contact with them.

Let’s hope that this is the end of the nightmare for these children and that better times are ahead.
