Here Are This Year’s Nominees For Most Insensitive 9/11 ‘Tribute’ (Video)

This Sunday is the 15th anniversary of the September 11th attacks.  And a Walmart in Panama City Beach, Florida decided to pay tribute by building a replica of the Twin Towers using 12-packs of Coke.  Not surprisingly, a lot of people think was in pretty bad taste.

They used black Coke Zero boxes for the towers and 12-packs of Coke and Diet Coke for an American flag. So the Internet went nuts when someone posted a photo of it.
Coca-Cola released a statement yesterday saying that they came up with the idea, and Walmart approved it. But they took it down yesterday after people complained.

Also, a mattress store in San Antonio posted a 9/11-themed ad, where two employees knock over two stacks of mattresses. Then the owner says, “Never forget.” The owner later admitted that it was a “stupid” idea and the ad was pulled it down.
