Bazooka Bubble Gun Pays Out A Prize Nearly 60 Years Later (Video)

Fifty-nine years after opening the contest, Bazooka Bubble Gum awarded a 70-year-old Grand Prairie, Texas resident an assortment of prizes in this heartwarming story. After the unfortunate passing of his brother, Darwin Day discovered a collection of baseball cards in which he could win prizes for through Bazooka gum. The contest had no end-date printed so Day tested his luck saying, “In a way, I did it in memory of my brother. His obit said he was a jokester.”

From Day finding the baseball cards, to him buying an entire box of Bazooka for the wrappers, to a letter filled with coincidences between his life and Tony Jacobs’ (the global general manager of Topps Confectionary Brands), this story is one that will definitely put a smile on your face. None of us will have as good of a day as this guy!
