Richard Dreyfuss had to let people know that he is actually not dead. It all started Sunday at the Emmy’s, when Julia Louis-Dreyfus was awarded for her role on the show Veep. In her acceptance speech, she broke down and shared that she was dedicating the award to her father, William Louis-Dreyfus who passed away Friday.
Fans, not paying attention to the variation in spelling between the last name or that Julia’s father’s name is William, offered their condolences to Richard Dreyfuss and his family, to the point he had to share he is, in fact, not Julia’s father. In a tweet, Dreyfuss shared the news, but said he appreciated all the concern.
