When in Denver, do as the Denverites do…get stabbed by your dog! Celinda Haynes went to the hospital last week with a 4″ stab wound on her arm. The hospital staff became suspicious of foul play and the Sheriff’s department was sent to investigate. However, after lots of questioning, the sole suspect was determined to be the family dog Mia.
According to Haynes, Mia picked up a freshly sharpened paring knife off the counter and began running around the house with it. Haynes tried to bribe Mia to drop the knife by offering her treats, but the dog just ran for the treat with the knife still in her mouth and slashed Haynes’ arm. Probably time to find a better hiding place for your kitchen utensils!
