An MSU football fan had an emotional breakdown after something sports-related triggered him. He learned that MSU fans were selling their tickets to U of M fans as a result of disappointment in their current sports stats. “Shame on them,” he blubbers. How dare they lose faith in their team! What could be more important than tribalistic loyalty and identity appropriation! There’s no better reason for a grown man to cry, and we stand by him.
Maybe he shouldn’t be THAT upset though, right? He’s probably been a sports fan for a long time. Doesn’t he know by now that it’ll get better…then worse…then better…then worse…then better…ad nauseam?
