The FBI Investigated This Creepy YouTube Video In Connection With A 2009 Missing Person (Video)

Back in 2009, a teen in Wisconsin named Kayla Berg went missing.  Since then, the case has gone cold.  But recently, a video that was uploaded to YouTube just months after Berg’s disappearance went viral and caused authorities to investigate.

In the video, titled, Hi Walter! It’s Me Patrick!, a man named Patrick tells his friend Walter, who is not in the video, about his new girlfriend.  He talks about how they met at the mall, went shopping at JC Penney and then went jewelry shopping.  Then, at the end of the video, Patrick turns the camera and opens a door to reveal a young woman on the floor, bound and gagged and screaming.  The video then cuts off.

After this video came to light recently despite being uploaded seven years ago, many believed that the woman in the video was Kayla Berg.  The video was pulled down and police and the FBI started to investigate.  But late last night, the Antigo Police Department posted on their Facebook page that the video was completely fake and had zero connection with the Berg disappearance.  Whether or not the video was meant to intentionally target this case or if it was a complete coincidence is still unknown, as is the identity of “Patrick.”
