We’ve all experienced the “You must be this tall to ride this ride” sign, but did you know that amusement parks regulate by boob size now too? For example, the Thorpe Park ride Colussus didn’t let a woman with size 36L breasts enjoy it’s similarly bountiful curves. Of course, this was not an issue of body-shaming or discrimination, but an issue of safety. If each of the safety restraints is not down and latched, the ride will not start. So, if the bar cannot be properly fixed, they cannot allow the person to ride the ride
Sure, it may be embarrassing and theme parks should plan for more well-endowed riders; however, 36L is a pretty rare size to plan for! We can only imagine what a metaphorical roller coaster life with those must be!
