Get turned on in the name of Jesus! Yup! A study done by University of Utah has recently found that religious thoughts trigger the same reward systems in the brain as sex. Love, music and drugs were also equated to religious thoughts.
The study was done on 19 devout Mormons and had them under an MRI machine while they were read religious quotes, watched religious videos and prayed. One woman had not one, but three spiritual experiences and doctors said that the brain scan “lit up like Christmas lights.”
So there you go people. You can either do some cocaine or think about religion and feel the same way!
