World’s Worst Football Thrower Gets A Second Shot At $1 Million (Video)

Football is a great American sports that everyone, for the most part, knows how to play.  So you’d think that pretty much everyone would know how to throw a football.  Wrong!

This story begins back at the NCAA National Championship football game, which saw Alabama go up against Clemson with Clemson coming out on top.  Before the game Joe Delk had won a chance to win one million dollars if he made a 25 yard throw.  Seems pretty easy right?  Well as the world saw, Delk made the worst throw in football history.  But all was not lost!

Eckrich, the sponsor of the contest, decided to give Delk three more chances to win the cash.  His first throw from 25 yards missed.  His second throw was from 15 yards and not surprisingly he missed.  His third throw came from a super close 7 yards away and he, as expected, missed.  But Eckrich still sent him home with free groceries for a year.

We never knew you could win decent prizes for being the world’s worst football thrower, but apparently you can!
