When you’re a superstar artist like Ed Sheeran, it’s probably pretty easy to forget every single person you met along the way. But you’d think that it would be fairly easy to remember people that you knew BEFORE you were a big star, right? Unfortunately, that wasn’t exactly the case.
Recently, Sheeran appeared on The Graham Norton Show and during a segment where audience members are invited to tell stories, Sheeran failed to recognize that the guy telling the story was actually his “best mate” from his early school days, making for a very funny interaction!
Now, in Sheeran’s defense, he probably hasn’t see the guy in 15 years and can definitely people change quite a bit. Also, Sheeran said that he wasn’t wearing his “specs” so he was having a little trouble seeing the monitor. So we’ll give him a pass on the whole thing. But it was still very funny nonetheless!
