So, if you’re Free Beer, a fainting goat or you just don’t like gross stuff, you may not want to watch this video. It’s really gross.
Akil Mitchell of the New Zealand Breakers basketball team suffered a pretty gross injury in a game yesterday. His eye popped out. No, really. His eye actually popped out of its socket! An opponent was going for a rebound and his hand caught Mitchell’s eyeball and POP! The technical term is that his eye “puffed” out of the socket, but it doesn’t really matter. His freakin’ eyeball fell out.
Shockingly, it’s not as bad as it looks. He was taken to the hospital, the eyeball was stuffed back inside his head and he’s already home and on the mend! And to Mitchell’s credit, seems to have a good sense of humor about it.
But yea, the video is gross. So you’ve been warned.
????… too soon? Lol thanks for all the love, well wishes, and prayers tonight. I’m home and seeing fine, more tests tomorrow
