A game warden in Kansas recently found two deer that got their antlers stuck together. If they didn’t get untangled, they would have died. But he couldn’t get too close to them, so he decided the only option was to shoot their antlers to separate them!
There are no nerve endings in the antlers, so he knew it wouldn’t hurt. He did it with a handgun that looks like it had a laser sight, which probably helped. Both of the deer were fine afterward, and ran off.
