So, the Grammy’s royally screwed up last night with Metallica’s performance of “Moth Into Flame,” which also featured Lady Gaga. For some reason, James Hetfield’s microphone DIDN’T work for the first couple of minutes of the song…which made it sound a bit weird with Lady Gaga singing every other verse…either way, you’d think that of all the awards shows the Grammy’s wouldn’t screw up something like that…Here’s the performance:
James was pretty pissed after the performance, kicking his mic stand, tossing his guitar (which was caught by one of the crew members), and making a frustrated gesture to someone off stage…can you blame him though? Here’s the video of Hetfield tossing the guitar:
